We invite you to submit abstracts for the 14th Annual National Conference of the ECMO India Foundation 2025, showcasing innovative research, clinical advancements, and insightful case studies in the field of Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO). Please adhere to the following submission guidelines:
Abstract Submission Guidelines
Title:
- Keep it concise and reflective of your abstract content.
- Limit to 20 words.
Authors and Affiliations:
- List all authors in order of contribution.
- Include their affiliations: department, institution, city, and country.
- Clearly indicate the presenting author.
Abstract Structure: Research
Your abstract should be organized into the following sections:
- Background: Provide a brief introduction outlining the context or significance of your study.
- Objectives: Clearly state the primary objective(s) of your study or case report.
- Methods: Describe the methods utilized, including study design, patient population, and any interventions for clinical studies.
- Results: Summarize key findings, including relevant data and statistical analyses.
- Conclusion: Discuss the implications of your findings and their relevance to ECMO practice.

Case Report Structure:
The case report should be structured under the following sections:
- Introduction: Provide a brief background or context explaining the relevance of the case to ECMO practice. Highlight why the case is unique or important.
- Patient Presentation: Describe the patients demographics (age, gender), initial presentation, and clinical symptoms. Include relevant history or comorbidities.
- Intervention/Management: Outline the ECMO intervention and any additional treatments or procedures. Specify the type of ECMO used (e.g., VA or VV), duration, and any adjunct therapies.
- Outcome: Summarize the clinical outcome, including any complications, resolution, or follow-up. Provide objective measures of success or failure, if available.
- Discussion: Discuss the implications of this case, its contribution to existing knowledge, and any lessons learned. Compare your findings with current literature or practices.

- The body of the abstract must not exceed 300 words, excluding the title, author details, and references.
Formatting:
- Use 12-point Times New Roman font.
- Ensure single-spacing without paragraph indentations.
Submission Deadline:
